Christine Dalton has practiced as a therapist for over 30 years. She has had experience and training in the fields of individual, couple and family therapy,and works with a variety of mental health concerns, problems of living, and relationship difficulties. As well as being in private practice since 1990, she has worked in out-patient psychiatry and in a Family Practice through the Hamilton Family Health Network. She works in both long and short-term psychotherapy.

Christine is a former Assistant Clinical Professor, part-time, in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University, where she taught in the Individual Studies area (Psychodynamic Psychotherapy section) and provided clinical supervision of psychotherapy.

Christine has a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature from the University of Toronto and a diploma in Clinical Behavioural Sciences from the Department of Psychiatry, McMaster. She also did a year's Clinical Fellowship at the Tavistock Clinic, London, England, which provided advanced training in psychodynamic therapy with individuals and couples. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
